Transformation is

more
than
technology

Digital transformation integrates technology into all areas of a business, but, more fundamentally, it is a cultural change. It requires organizations to continually challenge the status quo and get comfortable with failure and change, through agile experimentation that is driven by data insights.

Embracing change

Digital transformation requires an honest examination and reinvention of all aspects of your organisation. It’s not just the incorporation of computer-based technologies into your infrastructure, but also a full review of your processes, strategies and, ultimately, your products and services.

An agile approach

We apply an agile methodology to all of our projects. Hypothesis-Driven Design (HDD) is a user-centered and evidence-based approach to the discovery, design, and development of new projects. HDD’s focus on experimentation is something that distinguishes it from design approaches that may only focus on layout and presentation.

A growth mindset

Transforming can be a difficult: it’s critical to emphasize the processes that deliver learning and progress, such as seeking support, trying new strategies, and capitalising on setbacks and failures to move forward effectively. Embodying a growth mindset means to encourage appropriate risk-taking, knowing that some risks won’t work out. Organisations can gain a lot by deepening their understanding of growth-mindset concepts and how to put them into practice. It gives them a richer sense of who they are, what they stand for, and how they want to move forward.

Adopting technology

While transformation is more than just technology, inevitably, technology is a key enabler for the change that organisations seek. With tens of thousands of tech solutions to choose from, it pays to know what the organisation hopes to achieve, and why, before plugging a new solution into the technology stack. Adoption of a new technology throughout the organisation is only possible if the benefits are abundantly clear to the people that will be using it.

Effecting change

Placing people at the core of change thinking is fundamental to effecting transformation in the organisation. Change must be understood in the context of time, communication channels, and, most importantly, its impact on all affected participants. Whereas top-down, plan-driven change programmes often fail to deliver, Agile principles and Hypothesis Driven Methodologies have been proven to be successful in the field of change management, due to the iterative and cross-functional approach that these principles champion.
